This is a high quality giclee print of the original artwork 'In need of a good milking!' by William Gorman.

"It features 3 dairy cows balancing on their exceptionally full udders. As ridiculous as this illustration looks, it was actually created after reading an article in a farming magazine some 25-years ago when I was in my final year at art college. The article dealt with genetic selection and the need to create a higher yield much faster in all aspects of modern day farming.

There were a number of ideas that quickly came to mind. Most remained as a quick sketch but one I developed further was picturing a group of dairy cows with udders filling faster than they could be milked - hence the title.

In 2014, I made some alterations to the first design (originally a linocut print) and completed it in ink and watercolour".
